Typical desktop/laptop versions of military wallpapers include 1152 x 864, 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600 pixels.

Military wallpapers have become a primary choice especially for people related to military or armed forces. Significance of the military category wallpapers have increased with the deployment of U.S. and coalition forces in many troubled regions of the world particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today’s military wallpapers feature anything from specific military engagements to single military equipment. However, favourite military categories in the popular websites include armed force i.e. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Special Forces and Coast Guards. Within such categories there are specific subcategories like military units and formations, military equipment like helicopters, fighter aircrafts, tanks, Armoured Personnel Carriers or even individual weapons like M-16 rifles or machine guns.

If you are looking for particular military wallpaper, you can find it by browsing through hundreds of websites which feature them in the internet. You can get a take a trial look by clicking the Preview option available next to the thumbnail of the military wallpaper. If you like it, just save the graphic file that loads or the file specific format (usually *.zip in case of bundled wallpapers of all three resolutions). Many websites offer military wallpapers absolutely FREE of cost, while some may charge a small amount of money due to their extremely high quality. Some websites also offer certain wallpaper related software which allows downloading wallpaper of your choice daily or at regular intervals.

Wallpapers as your desktop/laptop/mobile devices’ background attach a personalized and customized look. If you are somehow related to military services and/or personnel, adding military wallpapers to your computer or mobile device’s screen would not only make your computing enjoyable, it would add a emotional approach to the military services as well. People all around the world are using military wallpapers to promote their feelings and support for the men and women in uniform or to a military installation or equipment. MousePuter

Filed under: Handheld Pc Pda Videos

The mouseputer is a mouse and computer in one device. We prototype it with a hand-held computer with the guts of an optical mouse on the back. Our XICE Framework is small and powerful enough that a PDA or cell phone can be used to run powerful applications like word processors and spread sheets. We show these applications being used on 3 72-inch hdtvs (running at 1366×768), but the applications are running entirely on the user’s handheld.

T68 Blackberry Clone (AKA HiTune) – This Smart Phone Has Windows Mobile, WiFi, and Supports Java

Lately, there’s been a lot of talk about iPhone clones / Chinese knock offs that support Java. In terms of iClones, the best selling models are the CECT i9 and the SciPhone i68. However, both of these are flat, touch screen models. Some folks really like phones (like the Blackberry productivity models) that allow you to text and enter information with a full keyboard.

For those consumers, the T68 or HiTune can fit this bill. This phone is sometimes called a Chinese knock off of a blackberry as it’s a true smart phone that allows you to compose, read, and edit documents away from your home and office.

The T68 is also one of the few clones that contains windows mobile, WiFi, and Java 2.0. This allows you to download and run thousands of third party software applications and gaming options. (Gaming can get you in big trouble though if you mainly want this phone for productivity. You can download NES Nintendo and Windows PPC games on this phone. This can be a big distraction if you are not disciplined.)

To even out productivity with gaming, the HiTune runs and comes with Word, MSN, Excel, and PowerPoint. Outlook express and GPS are also included.

You transfer data from the phone to your computer via ActiveSync and USB cable. This makes working away from your computer and on the phone extremely easy. The e book reader allows you to read and edit PDF documents as well.

The bonus gaming and productivity features do not cut into your typical standard clone features, like: web browsing; messaging; texting; MP3 / MP4; a 2.0 mega pixel built in camera; and Bluetooth.

The Chinese T68 mobile phone has a sleek, streamlined appearance with full keyboard and scroll bar which should appeal to a wide variety of consumers. On first glance, it reminds me a blackberry curve.

This true smart phone is an interesting mix of the Chinese clone “everything in one phone” business model combined with the productivity and messaging functioning of the Blackberry. It is quick and high performing. If you like the thought of an unlocked clone, but would prefer a model not based on the flat, touch screen on the iPhone and want more productivity options like windows mobile, GPS, and Java, the HiTune may be worth a look.

Usually priced somewhere around $150-$175, there’s a lot to like about this fully loaded PDA. Although most people think of flat, touch screens when they think of clones, there are many additional options that include full keyboards and other high end options. The T68 is among the nicest examples of this.

An Even Smaller Keychain GPS Receiver

Filed under: Handheld Pc Pda Articles

A while back I was awed and wrote about what I thought was a miniscule GPS receiver that fit on a keychain. Well, I just received an even smaller one from Proporta.com that is even more awesome.

The Freedom Keychain GPS 2000 comes in black with a rubberized coating, weighs 0.77 ounces, and measures 1.81 x 1.26 x 0.58 inches with a swivel detachable hook on one end. On one side is a slider power switch and a mini-USB port for charging.

In the box, you get a power charger for your car and a USB cable for charging from a computer. There is also a small printed user’s manual with instructions offered in ten languages.

Some of the important technical data are as follows:

- Bluetooth v 2.0

- 10 meter range

- MTK chipset

- 51 channels “all-in-view” tracking

- ARM7EJ-S processor

- Protocol: NMEA 0183/ V3.01, GGA, GSA, GSV, RMC

- Baud rate 115,200

- Frequency L1, 1,575.42 Mhz

- Tracking Sensitivity 158dBM

- WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS enabled

- P:osition deviation: 10 meters 90% 2D RMS 1-5 meters

- Velocity: 0.1 m/sec

- Cold/warm/hot start: 36/33/1 sec

- Rechargeable 350 mAh Lithium polymer battery

Operation is simple and straight forward. After charging the device, switch the power on and pair it with your GPS navigation device via Bluetooth using the normal procedure.

On the end opposite the keyring hole are a series of LED lights that glow blue for Bluetooth connection, orange for GPS, red for battery, and green for charging.

Once you are paired with a navigation device, you are good to go. This miniscule signal grabber is a powerful little fellow. You don’t even have to have it in plain view of the satellites in your windshield. You can keep it hooked to your ignition key while navigating, and it will receive the signal just fine. You can also put it in your pocket, backpack or purse.

I’m not certain how long the battery lasts. The longest I have used it so far was about four hours, and it was still going strong. It has a power feature that allows the device to go into hibernation mode when there is no activity from your handheld device, and the lights stop flashing. It will wake up instantly with any signal from your navigation device.

You are probably wondering how much this little guy costs, and the answer is $129.95. You can get one from http://www.proporta.com. Shipping is an extra $4.95, by the way.

If you do not already have GPS software for your pocket pal, I recommend OCN from buy http://www.buygpsnow.com, Co-Pilot 7 from [http://www.alk],com, and Ostia from http://www.pharosgps.com. Be sure to get the version that comes on an SD card that will also accommodate micro and mini SD slots. Prices start at $79 for the navigation software.

With this powerful GPSer on your keychain, you will never have to ask for directions again, and you can be a real man.

On the Cutting Edge of Technology

Filed under: Handheld Pc Pda Articles

They say proactive is always better than reactive and a wireless vibration system is the ideal solution to keep a close watch on expensive machinery. HVAC systems are a costly, yet necessary investment for companies, which is why preventing problems before they occur is crucial. The latest technological advances, including hand held wireless monitoring systems, allow you to focus on running your business instead of worrying about potential problems.

Latest Advances

Thanks to experienced and focused efforts by some of the most brilliant engineering minds in the world, vibration conditioning monitoring has become both cost effective and efficient. Take a look at some of the latest advances:

o Vibration meter and analysis is now wireless, courtesy of hand held solutions that keep workers mobile

o Online vibration systems for all crucial HVAC assets

o User friendly web based software that keeps the entire process streamlined and error-free. It is both worry-free with features that provide clear identification; and

o Seamless vibration monitoring tools and software modules that provide effortless monitoring, no matter where you are or the time of day

What if you could find a fully functional vibration data collector that is custom made for monitoring your HVAC systems that was both accurate and affordable? Think it does not exist? Think again. With input from those in the know, including engineers responsible for designing, monitoring and evaluating various machinery and cooling systems, predictive maintenance has just become simple and streamlined. By incorporating specific fault symptoms by use of traditional red, amber and green color codes, identifying problems has never been easier. The software for PDAs takes it a step further by identifying the two usage modes – high level symptom based vibration checks or the route based vibration measuring method. What could be better? Gone are the problematic methods of yesterday; today, it is all about simplicity and effectiveness.

The Software

What if the easy to use software never needed IT support? No worries about crashes or difficult applications and accessibility from anywhere in the world was what Diagnostic Solutions had in mind when it created the accompanying software, SmarTrend. Incorporating cutting edge technology such as the SOA architecture allows user flexibility with focused detection. Whether you are walking through your plant or vacationing in the Caribbean, it is your solution for staying in the loop. It is the epitome of worry-free software.

Other functions include compatibility via drivers for USB-Vib, WiVib 4/4, DS460 and others, a status view, easy plotting o system and process trends and output functions for a real-time view and custom reports that can be emailed, printed or sent via SMS. This allows other need to know personnel to stay in the loop as well.

Diagnostic Solutions continues its trailblazing efforts in predictive maintenance, vibration services and machinery condition monitoring. With a focus on the future, Diagnostic Solutions allows business owners to focus on the here and now with the knowledge their HVAC systems are serving their purposes with minimum downtime and quick detection. After all, is not that the way it is supposed to be?

Brangelina – PDA (We Just Don’t Care)

At last! After so many weeks of attempting to finish this video. I know this is so simple to take it so long to finish. By the way, this contains pictures of Angie and Brad where they’re showing affection towards each other. I also added some videos from premieres and award shows they’ve attended. Plus, there’s an old interview of Angie at Inside the Actors Studio talking about Brad in their film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. PS I’m using unregistered version of file converter so there will be watermarks! LOL.
